From Cancun Airport to the Hotel Zone
Cancun Airport sits south of the Hotel Zone, so every Hotel Zone transfer runs north along Boulevard Kukulcan or the connecting highway, depending on traffic and how far out your resort is. Properties near the start of the strip, closer to downtown Cancun, are the shortest rides; properties toward Punta Cancun at the northern tip add another 10 to 15 minutes. Your driver tracks your flight, so a delayed landing does not change your pickup time, and the 60-minute grace window covers customs lines that run long.

Which part of the Cancun Hotel Zone has the shortest airport transfer?
Hotels at the southern end of Boulevard Kukulcan, closer to the airport and downtown side of the strip, are usually the quickest to reach. Resorts toward Punta Cancun at the northern tip add roughly 10 to 15 minutes, so the exact hotel name is more useful than treating the whole Hotel Zone as one fixed drive time.
Do I need the hotel kilometer marker when I book the transfer?
No. The exact hotel or resort name is enough for the driver to identify the correct entrance. If your confirmation shows a similarly named sister property, use the full name from the reservation so the drop-off is not confused with another hotel on Boulevard Kukulcan.
What if my Hotel Zone hotel does not have its own arrival guide yet?
You can still book directly through this route page. The dedicated hotel guides add property-specific context, but they are not a requirement for service; provide the hotel name and flight details, and the driver will take your group directly to that resort.
Should a family choose the vehicle only by passenger count?
No. Passenger capacity is only one part of the decision. Strollers, child seats, mobility equipment, and several large suitcases can make a larger vehicle more practical even when the group technically fits a smaller tier, especially if everyone wants a comfortable direct ride after the flight.
